Jim Marshall, the man who invented the famous Marshall amp, passed away after a battle with cancer
(93.7 The Arrow) Dubbed "The Father of Loud," Jim Marshall, passed away in a hospice Thursday morning at the age of 88.
According to his son, Terry Marshall, the creator of the amp endured cancer as well as a series of strokes.
He is survived by two children, two stepchildren, and grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
